Microlubrication or spraying?
VIBRACO can advise you. A detail may require a solution which is in principle eliminated.
Some questions:
- Is the liquid flow compatible with the microlubrication?
- What is the cheapest solution?
- What are the more accurate nozzles (shape of the jet, product viscosity)?
And some common rules:
- Microlubrication is used to lubricate machining operations.
- Microlubrication and spraying are used to deposit anticorrosion products. The choice depends on shapes and conditions.
- Microlubrication and spraying are used for cutting and stamping operations. Microlubrication is used for narrow metal sheets (less than 150mm) and to deliver oil inside the tools. Spraying is used for large metal sheets.
- Microlubrication is used to deposit on specific points.
Instantaneous or continuous lubrication systems?
Instantaneous lubrication systems are used for short time spaced operations.
Continuous lubrication systems are used for long operations or for short operations which succeed quickly. They are also used for lubrication by spindle centres.
